Summer 2016 the students were assigned to take a minimum of a hundred photos in different categories. I again took photos and put them into a few collages below.
Who could resist a Supermoon Eclipse? Well I couldn't, I used Triggertrap attached to my camera to take time lapse photos at 10 minute intervals. I had done a bit of research and had my camera on a tripod, used my zoom lens at 200mm, set my F-stop at 8 and started with shutter speeds at 1/250 but ended with 4 seconds by 10:30 pm. I did combine 4 photos in Photoshop for the composite below, the bottom left was at 9:16 and the last photo was taken at 10:32.
Summer 2015
I assigned my AP students to take 100 photos in various categories during the summer break; these photos were for their own personal reference library to use throughout the school year. I decided to also complete this assignment; I stopped counting at 2000 photos, I did have a great deal of fun taking the photos however grouping them was not as enjoyable, we'll see if they felt the same when they get back to school. I have put some of the photos up; I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them.
